that’s me and it’s not that I’m sticking my butt out, my torso is slightly forward because it’s spanish and that’s the style. If my torso were straight here, the meaning of the pose would be lost in translation
I respect your criticism, I just disagree about how the pose should look
my teacher would say to me, “you look like an old english ballerina in covent garden”
and being russian-trained, that would be a monumental dishonor
what I mean is, I respect your opinion, but what I did in this picture is exactly what I meant to do
**also tucking is incorrect technique no matter what method you train in, your glutes should be engaged, but tucking your tailbone under is not a part of ballet technique

Oh my I can’t tell you how angry I get when people start correcting each other and have no idea what they’re even talking about. This is happened many times to me before. Clearly this was a stylistic choice. In addition “tucking” is never a correct correction. Loving ryanishka for being correct.
Also, the “old english ballerina in covent garden” oh my lord.
